Individual customers can open current accounts in HUF, USD, EUR and CNY with the bank.
The minimum balances of current accounts in each currency are 10,000 HUF, 100 USD, 100 EUR and 1,000 CNY respectively.
There is no passbook for the account.
- Current accounts can be used for cash deposit and withdrawal, internal transfer between the accounts of the same customer or between the accounts of different customers (including the currency exchange), inward or outward remittance.
- Cash withdrawal of 1 million Forint (including) or equivalent foreign currency requires one day notice. Over 1 million Forint (including) to 5 million Forint or equivalent foreign currency requires two-days notice. Over 5 million (including) requires three days notice.
For the first current account with the bank, customers need to go to the bank counters in person with valid identity documents such as Hungarian ID card, passport, driver's license and address card, or a foreign passport with valid visa.
If customers want to open an account in another currency, the account holder can apply at the counters in person or send an application by fax if he or she has already signed a fax business contract with the bank.
For paper-based transfer instructions, the account holder or the authorized person of the account can submit them at the counters of the bank in person.
The account holder can also send a fax instruction if he or she has already signed a fax business contract with the bank.
